1. Who We Are

Dunk AI ("we," "us") operates a basketball jump and biomechanics analysis service available on the web and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: email, authentication identifiers, and basic profile fields you provide.
• Athlete profile data: optional fields such as height, weight, sport, and training goals used to personalize analysis.
• Video and analysis data: jump videos you upload, derived biomechanics metrics, analysis reports, and related metadata (for example upload time, analysis mode, and processing status).
• Subscription and billing data: plan tier, subscription source (web or mobile), and limited billing references. Payment card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, Google Play, or RevenueCat—not stored directly by Dunk AI.
• Usage and device data: app interactions, feature usage, approximate diagnostics, IP address, browser or device type, and crash or performance logs used to secure and improve the Service.
• Support communications: messages you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve video analysis and coaching features.
• Enforce plan limits and subscription entitlements.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions through third-party billing providers.
• Send transactional messages such as receipts, security alerts, and service notices.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. AI Processing

Dunk AI uses deterministic biomechanics processing plus AI models to explain results and provide coaching suggestions. Video frames and derived metrics may be sent to AI service providers solely to generate those explanations. AI outputs are not medical diagnoses. See our AI & Biomechanics Disclaimer.

5. Service Providers We Use

We share data with trusted processors only as needed to operate the Service, including:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Google Cloud — backend API hosting, video storage, and analysis processing.
• Lemon Squeezy — web checkout and subscription billing.
• RevenueCat and Google Play — Android in-app purchase and subscription management.
• AI providers — coaching explanations and related language features.
• Email and analytics providers — transactional email and product diagnostics where enabled.

We do not sell your personal information. Where required by law, we provide additional disclosures about data transfers, subprocessors, and regional privacy rights.

6. Video Storage and Deletion

Uploaded videos are stored so we can process analyses and let you review results. We delete or de-identify video files according to our retention schedule and when you delete associated analyses or your account, subject to backup, legal, and fraud-prevention retention described below.

Analysis summaries and numeric metrics may be retained longer than raw video where needed for account history, quota enforcement, or legal compliance.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and usage data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data linked to your account except where retention is required or permitted, including:

• Billing, tax, and transaction records.
• Fraud prevention, abuse investigation, and security logs.
• Records needed to resolve disputes or comply with law.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain sessions and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies in the core app experience. You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling them may break sign-in or app functionality.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@dunk-ai.com to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or certain U.S. states, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

11. Children's Privacy

Dunk AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
